Spreading Light, One Smile at a Time.
Avery’s Angels was created in honor of my daughter, Avery, who was hospitalized at just six weeks old with a serious bacterial infection. As a parent, nothing prepares you for seeing your baby in that environment — surrounded by wires, monitors, and uncertainty. But during that time, one truth became undeniable: energy is everything. The atmosphere in the room, the kindness of a nurse, the joy of a small gesture — it all makes a difference.
Inspired by that experience, Avery’s Angels is on a mission to bring joy and healing energy to children in hospitals. With the help of donors, we send real-life superheroes and princesses to visit pediatric patients, each bringing along a cuddly stuffed animal to gift the children. These aren’t just characters — they’re symbols of strength, hope, and happiness, reminding each child that they are brave, they are seen, and they are never alone.We’ve spoken with pediatric doctors, nurses, and child care specialists, and they all agree — this matters. These magical visits don’t just lift spirits; they can transform the hospital experience and support the healing process in ways that medicine alone cannot.
Avery’s Angels is here to be that spark of joy. To make hospital stays a little less scary. To remind children (and their families) that even in the darkest moments, there are still reasons to smile.
