Projects Description

Protecting the places we play, one cleanup at a time.
Water World is a mission dedicated to preserving the beauty and health of some of Arizona’s most treasured natural spaces — Canyon Lake, Saguaro Lake, and the Salt River. These iconic waterways aren’t just scenic spots — they’re where families gather, where memories are made, and where nature thrives.
Unfortunately, these areas are often left littered after weekends of boating, tubing, fishing, and hiking. That’s where we come in.
With the help of generous donations, Water World organizes and funds volunteer-driven cleanups to remove trash from shorelines, trails, and waterlines. Donations cover supplies like gloves, trash bags, collection tools, and fuel expenses — everything our teams need to safely and effectively restore these environments.
We’re also working to create long-term solutions. One of our goals is to partner with the U.S. Forest Service to install built-in trash bag dispensers at key access points — including parking lots and boat ramps — to encourage visitors to pack out their trash and take responsibility for keeping our lakes and rivers clean.
Water World isn’t just about cleaning up — it’s about protecting the wild spaces we love, educating our community, and leaving the land better than we found it.
